'Shocking' BOHS Occupational Asthma Results

The British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) has recently reported about the growing number of cases of occupational asthma, and has released the table below, displaying the occupations in which this condition has become apparent. The statistics are very concerning and as an employer of any of the roles identified, it is vitally important that you adhere to the COSHH regulations, to reduce the risk to your employees.

At Impact Technical Services, we install, test and maintain local exhaust ventilation (LEV) systems. LEV systems play a critical part in protecting your staff. It is estimated that 60% of businesses are breaking the law because they don't have their systems tested. Our engineers have years of experience in this field, so call us today for more information.
