A Nottinghamshire company called us as they were concerned over the quality and contents of an LEV inspection that had been carried out as part of their insurer’s policy requirements. After visiting the site and reviewing the report, our judgment was that their concerns were justified. The report was short on detail and offered misleading information on the performance and condition of the various LEV systems.
Our advised approach was to start with a blank piece of paper and benchmark the system. This involved scrutiny of the design and layout, thorough examination & testing plus air quality sampling. We supplied them with a detailed report of compliant LEV systems, a report showing very little evidence of airborne contaminant and an LEV logbook for 5 years.
All this for around £300. Needless to say our customer was very happy and promptly supplied us with another order for another area within their business.
