The Microdust Pro is a rugged, hand-held, data-logging meter for the real-time detection of airborne dusts, fumes and aerosols. It has a large LCD display and a unique graphical facility, allowing the user to instantly view the dust level and trends. It is ideal for walkthrough surveys of ambient and indoor workplace environments. This extremely versatile instrument can also be used with a range of accessories for static and size selective sampling applications.

Comprehensive data – Logging & Software
The Microdust features an internal data-logger with the capacity for storing up to 15,700 data points. Purpose designed software operates with the Microdust Pro. This easy to use software enables data to be downloaded, analysed in tabular and graphical format or exported into other software packages. Data can also be monitored remotely on a PC in real-time via RS232.
Indicative testing offers a means of monitoring exposure levels at a fraction of the cost compared to the gravimetric method. The technology behind the instrument is known as Near Forward Light Scatter. This method of testing is ideal for walkthrough surveys of ambient & indoor workplace environments. By utilising our instrument we are able to instantly view the dust level in units of mg/m³ and compare them to the Workplace Exposure Limit contained in HSE publication EH40.
We are also able to log trends so that we build up a condition monitoring regime for your system. By doing this we can detect the deterioration & also predict failures more accurately. This data will allow the time history profiling of dust generation in relationship to working practices & processes.
