The Challenge
A van racking specialist contacted Impact for support in controlling welding fumes generated during MIG welding on mild steel parts. Welding was carried out both at a dedicated workbench and in nearby areas, meaning the solution had to provide flexibility and wide coverage.
Our Solution
To meet the company’s needs, we supplied and installed a four-metre RFF articulating extraction arm. This versatile arm allowed operators to capture welding fumes effectively, whether working at the bench or away from it.
The Result
The new system provides reliable fume extraction, ensuring safer working conditions for employees while maintaining flexibility for different welding setups.
