A company specialising in van racking recently contacted Impact looking for a solution to help extract welding fumes. The fumes were being produced when MIG welding was being carried out on mild steel parts, the welding was taking place on an individual workbench and occasionally just away from it.
To help protect employees, they requested a four-metre flexible articulating extraction arm. For this solution the Impact RFF extraction arm was installed as it provided them with the versatility they required. The welding fume extraction arm covered the bench and also the areas where they were welding away from the bench.
